4-6 PM   Knitted Knockers   Eagle’s Nest   FREE

Knitted Knockers is a volunteer organization that coordinates the knitting and distribution of knitted prosthetic breasts for those who have lost their breasts to cancer.  Knitted Knockers are knit to various sizes in Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton and stuffed with PolyFiberFil.  Knockers only take a few hours to knit but can make a very big difference in how a woman feels about herself.
Tempe Yarn and Fiber will provide the yarn and pattern.  All you need to bring are US size 6 knitting needles (double points for knitting in the round or regular for knitting flat).  We will have individuals there to help you out, but some knitting experience is best.
