Dear Friends,
When I first moved to Arizona, it was a challenge to find other like minded individuals to spend time working on 'fiber stuff'. So, AFAR was created in its infancy to bring together fiber people, make friends, share inspiration, learn and grow together. AFAR has reached, and exceeded, its initial goals. I am humbled and so very grateful to all of you taking your time to share your lives with me and each other. AFAR has been the catalyst for so many new and beautiful friendships and experiences, much laughter, much love as well as growth for all of us as a fiber community.
It is time for us to go beyond AFAR and continue these associations and friendships ourselves. I have chosen to close this event. This decision is bittersweet, but it is the right choice for me at this time. I pray you will remember, embrace and continue to share, love and live the beautiful life you are blessed with, including all those connections you have made in association with AFAR.
My wish is that we will stay connected as the years continue, foster those friendships created, share, explore, inspire and grow in our creativity together. God bless you as you move forward with your beautiful lives.
